Requirements and Cost...

AGE: 13 or higher
SOCCER EXPERIENCE: You must have been licensed by US Soccer in 2023, 2024, or 2025. If you missed all 3 of these years or if you were trained by a local club without a US Soccer license, begin as a first time referee.
E-MAIL: you must have access to the email you used last year when you registered. You will have the option to look that up or reset your password as needed. Do NOT create a new account.
COMPUTER ACCESS: Use a computer (not a tablet or phone)
COST: $90 (including fees and US Soccer surcharges) which you will earn back in 3 games, likely on your first day. If you are over 18 years of age, you'll have a background check fee of $23 every 2 years ($150 if you have lived internationally).

You must complete an ONLINE class AND a we strongly recommend you attend a ZOOM session with the SRC to learn more about new material this year.

How long? You have about 4-5 hours of online work to do. Plan plenty of time to do this using a computer, not a phone or tablet.
When? You must finish it by the time you attend a state-wide zoom call. The final deadline for all online work is April 30, 2026. If you don't finish by then, you'll fail the course and have to start over. No refunds. That means you should be starting your online work at least 1 week before your zoom class.

How long? 2 hours in length, with a short break in the middle. The zoom class is for both new and returning assignors together.
